Instagram DM automation
Your DMs, answered properly.
Most Instagram DM tools send a canned reply and hand the conversation straight back to you. AdMeDaddy answers the actual question from your actual catalogue, and then keeps going until the order is placed and paid for.
What the AI handles on its own
- Price, sizes, colours, stock and delivery time, looked up rather than remembered
- A question about the kurti in yesterday's reel, matched to the right product, including from a screenshot
- Voice notes, transcribed and answered like any other message
- Buying intent: it moves a browsing customer to a size, a quantity and an address
- Name, phone, full address and pincode, collected in any order and in Hinglish
- Serviceability and shipping charges from the zones you configured
- The payment request, in whichever method you have enabled
- Order status questions, answered from the tracking number you pasted in
The rules it cannot break
These are enforced in code, not merely asked for in a prompt. The tools the AI is allowed to call refuse to return anything that would violate them, and a second check reads every reply before it goes out.
- It cannot invent a price, a stock figure, a specification or a delivery promise
- It cannot create a discount. Only the offers you configured exist
- It cannot confirm a payment from a screenshot, or because a customer says they paid
- It cannot move an order forward unless the conditions for that step are met
- It never claims to be human when a customer asks
When it stops and calls you
Uncertainty produces an escalation, not a guess. The AI sends the customer a short holding message and puts the thread in your Needs You queue with the reason, a summary and suggested actions. That happens when no product matches, when stock is unknown, when someone asks for a discount you have not configured, when a customer is angry or asks for you by name, when a payment is disputed, or when a policy you have not set yet is needed.
The one honest limitation
Instagram lets a business reply freely for 24 hours after the customer's last message. After that, automated messages are not permitted. So when an order ships a day later, AdMeDaddy writes the update for you and opens the customer's WhatsApp with the message ready to send. Two taps, not retyping. Fully automated order updates arrive when we add the WhatsApp channel.
