Questions sellers ask
The things people want to know before they let an AI answer their customers. If yours is not here, write to support@admedaddy.com and we will answer it properly.
Will it give wrong prices?
It cannot. Every price, size, stock figure, policy and delivery estimate in a reply has to come from your catalogue and settings. If something is missing the AI asks you instead of guessing, and a second check blocks any reply that slips through with a number it cannot trace.
How do I get paid?
On your own UPI ID, or cash on delivery. There is no gateway to sign up for and no account to open. The AI sends the customer a UPI link with the amount and the order number already in it, so the payment arrives in your app with the order number as its note. Nobody but you can see your UPI app, so when the customer says they have paid you check and tap Received, and the order confirms.
Someone commented “price?” on my reel. Then what?
The AI answers them privately. Instagram lets a business send one private reply to a comment on its own post, and that reply lands in the customer’s inbox as a normal DM thread. From there it sells from your catalogue and can take the order. It never replies in public, and it never deletes or hides a comment.
What about WhatsApp?
AdMeDaddy runs on Instagram DMs and comments today, where your customers already find you. When an order ships or a payment needs a nudge after Instagram's 24-hour reply window, AdMeDaddy writes the message and opens the customer's WhatsApp with one tap. What if a customer is angry or asks for a discount?
Those come to you. The AI sends a short holding message and puts the thread in the Needs You queue with the conversation summary and suggested actions. It never invents a discount, and it never argues with an unhappy customer on your behalf.
Which languages does it handle?
Hinglish by default, plus Hindi and English, and the regional languages you enable. It replies in the language and script the customer writes in, and it transcribes voice notes, which are very common in Indian selling.
Is there a free trial?
No free plan and no time-limited trial. Instead you get proof: AI Preview lets you chat with the AI as though you were a customer, and Shadow Mode drafts replies on your real conversations while you approve, edit or reject each one. It only goes live when you turn it on.
Do I need a website or a Shopify store?
No. Your Instagram page is the store. You import your catalogue from your own posts, a CSV, or by adding products by hand, and the AI sells from that.
Does AdMeDaddy hold my money?
Never. Payments go straight to your own UPI ID, or arrive as cash on delivery. AdMeDaddy is not a payment aggregator and never sits between you and your customer's money.
