Data Deletion Instructions
Last updated 20 September 2026. This draft is reviewed by counsel before launch.
If you are a seller using AdMeDaddy
You can delete everything yourself, at any time, without asking us:
1. Sign in at admedaddy.com and open Settings, then Account.
2. Under Delete this business, type your business name to confirm.
3. Confirm the deletion.
This cancels your subscription, disconnects your Instagram account so AdMeDaddy can no longer read or send messages, and permanently deletes your catalogue, customers, conversations, orders, payment records, uploaded media and the raw message payloads we received from Meta. It cannot be undone, so export your data first from the same page if you want a copy.
Deletion is immediate. Encrypted backups roll off within 30 days, after which no copy remains.
If you are a customer who messaged a shop
AdMeDaddy is software used by the shop you were messaging. The shop, not AdMeDaddy, decides what happens to your information, so the fastest route is to ask them directly and they can remove you from their side.
You can also write to support@admedaddy.com from the phone number or handle you used, telling us which shop you messaged. We will pass the request to that seller and confirm once your messages, contact details and order history have been removed. We respond within two business days and complete verified requests within thirty days.
To stop receiving messages without deleting anything, reply STOP in the chat. That takes effect immediately and covers order updates as well as replies.
What we keep, and for how long
Even without a deletion request, nothing is kept indefinitely. Raw message payloads received from Meta are purged after 30 days, uploaded media after 90 days, and conversation content after 12 months. Financial records tied to invoices are retained only as long as Indian tax law requires.
Contact
For anything on this page, including a request made on behalf of someone else, write to support@admedaddy.com. This is also the address to use for the data-deletion callback required by the Meta Platform Terms.
